On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to The 16th International Conference on Nanoimprint and Nanoprint Technology (NNT 2017) will be held in Changwon, Korea from November 8 to 10, 2017. The NNT 2017, which is held every year, follows the successful tradition of the previous meetings in San Fransisco 2002, Boston 2003, Vienna 2004, Nara 2005, San Fransisco 2006, Paris 2007, Kyoto 2008, San Jose 2009, Øresund & Copenhagen 2010, Jeju 2011, Napa 2012, Barcelona 2013, Kyoto 2014, Napa 2015 and the last year in Braga, Portugal.
Year 2017 had a lot of industrial and academic progresses of nanotechnology in Korea. Especially, “Miryang Nano Industrial Complex” began construction in Gyeongnam Province. NNT 2017 is based on progresses of nanotechnology, and also pledges to deliver current and relevant technical information for NNT scholars and engineers.
NNT 2017 will address challenges and opportunities for nanotechnology with various topics. It will offer a unique opportunity for comprehensive overview and prospects of nanoimprint and nanoprint technology from basic research to application. We are gearing up for an exciting and informative conference program including plenary lectures and various lectures and presentations.
In addition to the scientific activities, we will have all the time we need to develop social and interpersonal relationships and partnerships and to promote cooperation in the field of nanoimprint and nanoprint technology. This three-day-long conference will be an excellent opportunity for you to meet experts from all over the world, share the view of current trend of nanoimprint technology. And of course, we extend a warm welcome to all our colleagues in the industry who share our interest in improving NNT Conference. Especially, this year it will be held with NANOPIA 2017 that is meaningful nanotechnology conference in Korea. It will be a great platform for sharing the most recent achievements and collaborations.
I hope you will join us at the conference and have a great time in NNT 2017. Along with the members of organizing committee, I look forward to seeing you in the “Bright Land”, Changwon, Korea coming November.
